MusyX FOR NINTENDO 64

Multiple music pieces may be started simultaneously to allow for crossfades between different pieces. Markers the musician can set within the arrangement may synchronize this process.

Sound effects can be controlled either by setting all parameters like volume, panning manually or by using the musicians defined default values. Even when using the 3D sound API manual control over the parameters is still possible.

Both music and sound effects can be freely assigned to one of the master volume faders at runtime, which makes it easy to control the volume of a whole group of sound be just fading one fader.

To minimize the amount of data needed to be present at one time MusyX packs its data into groups, which may be loaded and unloaded using a stack structure.

Key Features:

Complete handling of music and sound effects in one package
Hardware independent overall design
Number of voices only limited by hardware
Both CPU and Co-Processors may be utilized for sound generation
Multiple sample compression formats (Raw, ADPCM, uLaw)
Powerful SMaL programming language to define sound effects and music instruments

Variable MIDI controller architecture to allow for maximum flexibility while using the extended set of MIDI controllers

Synthesizer supports all standard modes and effects like monophony, polyphony, pitch bending, portamento mode and much more
